Wild Escape and Talking Nature

These 2 grant funded projects enabled me to work with a mixture of schools (KS1, 2 and 3, mainstream and SEN) and home educators on nature based activities. For Wild Escape, we explored the natural world through artwork and went on to build bug hotels. For Talking Nature, we explored climate change through examination of the fossil evidence. The groups then developed their own legacy actions, which I assisted with. These included writing letters to government, planting, running a competition and enhancing outdoor spaces with signboards and watering systems.

Both projects were coordinated through Museums Development South West, Wild Escape received funding from Arts Fund and Talking Nature received funding from Arts Council.
